Cy and I were on our way to school when we saw this displayed in Fully Booked Katipunan. I’ve been looking for this book for so long but being the practical kid that I am, I wasn’t keen on buying since I don’t really need it - I only wanted it because of the pretty photos I could take.
Yesterday, we had our group orals for ES12. I was really, really nervous because I’m not a good speaker, I usually stutter and repeat the same sentences/words when I’m pressured and/or intimidated. But thankfully, even though I got tongue-tied at some moments, our group got a perfect score.
We had another oral exam today, for FIL11. I partnered up with JL and as we were waiting for our turn outside the Consultation Room, I kept on cursing ‘till I was out of breath. And because fate wanted to, we had to analyze Ang Pusa Sa Aking Durungawan (1954 Palanca Awards) through Marxism. Our prof said that it is, in his opinion, the hardest possible combination. He went out to talk to another professor for a while, and I was going, “Putangina JL ayoko na dito lumabas na tayo naiiyak na ko” over and over again (without our professor hearing, of course, and yes, I cuss a lot so get over it) that JL had to calm me down. But thankfully, he and I came out of the room alive. I literally jumped for joy then lied in the middle of the hallway because Sir said we did really well.
MA11 came and our professor returned the results of our LT3. I’m proud to say that after two D’s and an F, I finally got my well-deserved B. I studied for more than five hours for that!
So, I finally decided to buy this Keep Calm and Carry On book to reward myself for doing great this week.
