It was only three in the afternoon but the sky was so dim it felt like the sun has already set. I was waiting for my dad to pick me up. It was raining so hard; even an umbrella won’t protect you from getting wet - it will just get blown away. Suddenly, these three guys barged in the condominium’s lobby. Armed only with their raincoats, they were brave enough to endure the leg-deep floods of Taft - and they still had the energy to smile.

I consider these fast food delivery guys as one of my heroes. They endure the heavy rains, strong winds and flooding streets in their two-wheeled vehicles, and risk their safety and health just so we could eat peacefully (and stay dry) at the comfort of our own homes.
