Today is a free day - meaning I have no classes. The university declared a suspension of classes 12NN onwards for Fr Jett’s investiture. I was supposed to have a class in the morning but our futsal coach gave us a free cut. Yay!
I went to Gateway to watch Zombadings: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington. If you know me in real life, you would know that I’m not really a big fan of Filipino movies, especially the ones being produced nowadays; those love stories with cheesy titles and cliche story lines. But one of the things that caught my attention is Zombadings’ promotional poster. I mean, how cool is that? It has this old school vibe but isn’t poorly made. Plus the colors are such eye candies!
I have never laughed so much while watching a Filipino film. Although I didn’t like how some of the footages were put together, the film was all-in-all great! It was such a stress reliever! Kudos to Martin Escudero for his awesome portrayal of Remington. Especially the part where he started dancing in the middle of the road, and the visual effects on that part, too, was awesome.
If you guys are in for a “light” film and want a good laugh, go watch!
